I’ve often wonderd how companies that “certify” Red Hat for their hardware or for their application feel about projects like CentOS and Oracle Linux. I know from experience that HP won’t support CentOS on servers that certify Red Hat, and IBM won’t support DB2 installed on CentOS, even though it’s certified for Red Hat.
Well, hopefully a new trend is starting as VMware is certifying its Workstation product for Red Hat and its derivitives.
