As an inveterate dabbler in Linux (and other) distros, I do, in fact, have a vast number of old CDs lying around. Here is a process where you can use the .iso file to install directly from the hard drive, without first burning a disk or DVD. As I’m having problems burning the latest openSUSE beta10.3 DVD, I think I will gives this a try this afternoon!
